Solar signage lightsSolar signage lights provide easy and reliable illumination for both commercial and noncommercial signs. Businesses will appreciate their ability to be continually reused at no cost of energy. They rely completely on the rays from the sun to perform their duty- a power source which is inexhaustible as well as free.

Of course, solar signage lights can be used by residences as well as businesses. Some great home uses include lighting up garden decor, addresses, or wall murals.

Solar signage lights should either utilize fluorescent bulbs or multiple LEDs. A light with a single LED bulb is merely an accent light, not powerful enough to light up a sign. For best visibility, use one with 25-100 LEDs, depending on the application. Sometimes, a couple spotlights with 3-4 LEDs each may be all that is needed.

Before purchasing solar sign lights, it is good to understand just how bright they are. Another important factor to note is the maximum distance from which a sign will be visible.

Many solar signage lights have a solar panel that can be placed 12-15 feet away from the lights themselves. This is especially beneficial for signs located in the shade. As long as the panel is placed in a location where it will receive optimal sunlight exposure, the light will work.
