The more accurate the information you can give us, the more accurate will be the estimate. This is especially true when it comes to the amount of your monthly electrical bill. When combined with the name of your power company (whose rates we know), we can get a good estimate of your existing monthly power usage. This then allows us to determine the number of solar panels needed to provide the percentage of solar power you specified you would like to achieve.

Arkansas Free Solar Evaluation

Arkansas consumes a relatively high amount of energy, with high electrical utility rates. This alone gives consumers and businesses incentive to go solar, and a free solar evaluation can be very worthwhile. There is a federal tax credit of $2,000 available for those who invest in a solar kit, but otherwise the state provides no financial incentive.

The biggest electrical utility in AR is Entergy Arkansas. This supplies about half of the electricity consumers in the state. It is estimated that a roof installation could cut electricity costs at least in half in most cases.

While there are many benefits to solar panel installation—from improved property value to utility savings to environmental benefits—at this point there are virtually no state incentives provided by Arkansas.
